Austin Jones was drafted by the New York Yankees in the 7th round of the MLB draft. Austin Jones had an oustanding Senior year setting school records in RBI’s and Batting Average and helping lead the Warriors to a 5th place finish in state.

What a proud day for all EW fans! This is an amazing accomplishment for an outstanding young man. The Warriors had an incredible season largely due to the leadership shown by Austin Jones and Derek Callahan (attending Gonzaga on a full ride scholarship for baseball) as well as fellow senior Ryan Brown (attending WSU to play football). These three young men have shown what hard work, determination and attitude can accomplish. Thank you for all you have given the team.
